- Some browsers allow (and thus encourage) gross errors in site code!
- The result is that browsers that require gross error free code cannot display the page(s).
- Allowing for gross errors makes a browser slow and a memory hog!
- Building a "broken" site can cost webmasters visitors!
- Following the basic design rules, means all visitors see the site.
- A variety of free resources can help make a site work for AnyBrowser*.
Have you visited a site and received a blank screen?
Has your Computer or Browser crashed when you visited a site?
Do some sites provide links that just don't seem to work?
Properly designed sites will NOT present problems to AnyBrowser*. (Screen size can be allowed for and is
just a consideration problem).
When you visit a site that makes trouble for you, send an email to the WebMaster (if you can).
Many WebMasters don't care if your visit is a disaster, but the person paying the bill's does!
Your feedback and comments can be very effective!
*AnyBrowser refers to Browsers that support "gross error free" HTML that conforms to generally
accepted standards as defined by W3C.
